Relationships are...Thank you Kristy for your post. Relationships are important in the classroom. At my middle school I have about 180 students pass through my doors daily. Every year it seems I have a few of THOSE students that I wish were absent. As you mentioned understanding those students is key. I had a few that started off as those students one year and by the end of the year we had learned what made each other tick. I actually had a few of them as my teacher assistants this past year.
